Our Principal

St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School is a Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6 double stream school comprised of approximately 480 students. St Bernadette’s is the southern-most Catholic systemic school in the metropolitan region, serving coastal communities from Waikiki to Secret Harbour and inland to Baldivis.

Newsletter Term 2, Week 7 – 14th June  2019

Staff Retreat and Learning

Last Tuesday the staff joined together for our staff retreat which was lead by Fr Elio Capra, who has an engaging, informative and humorous style of presentation. Our retreat focused upon the Scriptures and Jesus’ message lived out in our daily life. Fr Elio encouraged the staff to read and reflect upon the Scriptures, including the Gospel readings of the Mass, and to develop a Gospel Challenge to live out the Gospel message for the following week. A number of the classroom teachers have already begun to introduce the Gospel Challenge to their class.
